This will help to understand how decisions that directly affect residents or patients are approached and made in order to better understand how participation and equality are understood and practiced by older people who are dependent on residential or home-based long-term care. The knowledge gained will be used to develop instruments to promote participation and equal opportunities for people who receive professional long-term care and to implement them in a sustainable
